cont.. of meta camp!!
hey dear! i'm back.. yup yup.. Metamorphosis! F.L.A.P in Christ.
its about intimacy with god!
its abt making our life count for eternal!! sounds exciting ya!
we learn abt new age movement.
we learn abt media, music and youths! cool.. cool.. cool..
firstly.. let me share with u my encounter with god.. the first nite i have an altar call.. i was the first one to kneel down and cried.. i knew i was sinful.. i know my dryness with god.. i know i wan to reminisce my honeymoon season with god. after praying and crying to the LORD.. i feel so much lighter.. all my woes and sorrow had gone to god.. it was one of the best experiences i had in the camp. To be able to feel god's immeasurable love for me.. and is so gracious and undeserved! thank god for everything!!
the first lesson.. these are the main points.
*listening rather than talking*, *devotion rather than duties.
- Service for god isn't wrong.. however when we do the right thing at the wrong time it is distracting others and tiring for ourselves.
- There is a time to serve and a time to pray. there is also a time to listen and a time of enjoying itimacy with GoD.
- Always serve out of devotion for Christ and not for duties. If you are someone who carry alot of responsibilities, i just know exactly how you feel. But remember everything came frm god, thus everything should be done for his sake. Return everything to god.. and surrender all. believe me that's the only way out of ur stress zone.
Example: King David's love for GOd. We can learn to love God like him. for he is a man of GOd.
Ways to be itimate with God..
>> Constant devotion. (to have communion with the lord, spent quality time with him. Isn't this the way u get to know you gf/bf better? and GOd is closer than that!!!! Therefore remember your appointment him everyday.. which is our Quiet Time..
>> Identify all distraction. (be it TV, Internet, radios, or anything else)
"Don't be so busy for the Kingdom, until you neglect the King!"
Remember when you serve the LORD in the right direction.. and right way.. and the right time, Bible says that " they will soar like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint - Isaiah 40:31"
** still can go on?? hee.. Second lesson!!**
Make my life count for Eternal.. 2 tim 4:6-8
Life is brief. Therefore Invest life for eternal.
1. Live life like the first and the last day that u can live.
What we have already lived can't be change. But we can still change to live a life of honour n glory for GOd today.
2. Finishing of Life
Do you want to have a glorious ending for your life? Do you want god to say , " O, good n faithful servant, i know you've done ur best for me." when you meet him face to face??
We surely have sinned against the Lord.. We have saddened him. but surely this isn't the end of our story..rite?? Many run the RACE, Few complete. Can u picture urself serving the Lord 5 years down the road? or 10 years? 20 years? 30 years? n even til the day you meet him in heaven?
People, let's run the right race for GOd. A Tired service for god would mean ur on a wrong track..
Follow God's track for you. Don't blew your race for GOd because of SiNs. Pride goes before the fall. We need to clean up our spiritual mess and con't running the race for GOd. Tragedies should not stop you frm service. In different paths of life, we need to take baby steps of Faith and also Leaps of faith for GOd. When it is the will of GOD, HE provides.
2 Tim 4:8 - Death to a Christian is a finale for us. We will be going back home to our Lord. That's our gloryland...
We had qns to ponder after the lesson,
>> This day is my last, n i will meet god tml,i will......
>> What are some roadblocks that stops me frm running well.......?
>> What is one action point i would like to put into practice frm the lesson?
>> What would you like to be written on ur tombstone?
Let's live an empowered life for god. thirst and hunger for the Holy Spirit.. (John 7:37-38)

About new age movement.. heard of it?? abt the music and media and even how they are related to youths.. it rather interesting~.. but i dun think i wan to type on my blog... coz of certain reasons ya. but if u're interested.. hee.. can ask me personally! hee.. catch u guys soon! hope u guys din doze off reading wad i've learnt.. *smiles*
